Whoah. Time passes so quickly! I’ve been busy! But here I am on another fabulous friday with another whoah momma to share!

If I had to name a hobby outside of traveling or beach activities, it would definitely be making artist books. Unfortunately, I haven’t had much time to work on or post many of my books, but I still LOVE to see what others are doing in this realm.

This week, I came across MIT’s explorations with the pop-up book, incorporating recent technology to make the book even more interactive. The beginning is relatively *snore* in terms of steps removed from current engineering feats in the pop-up realm, but I love LOVE the pressure-sensitive interactions and venus flytrap page! It’s exciting to see how the battle between print and digital interactivity is alive and well!

It’s also amusing to me to see the number of nails painted on the presenter’s hands change throughout the video, but that’s a different thing completely =P.
